Helga Plankensteiners neues Projekt präsentiert Arrangements von Kompositionen von Jelly Roll Morton, dem „Erfinder des Jazz“, für tiefes Holz und tiefes Blech in origineller Besetzung und entlockt den fast hundertjährigen Tunes ganz neue Töne mit Jazz, Rock, Funk und Swing.

Jelly Roll trat bei zahlreichen Festivals auf darunter Lana Meets Jazz, All that Music Bozen, Brixen Jazz Day, Novara Jazz, Ivrea Jazz, le Rapalline Jazz Festival Albenga, Modena Jazz, Chiavari in Jazz, Inntöne Festival, Peitz Jazzfestival sowie in vielen Jazzclubs.
